Hyderabad, November 20: Chief Minister Mr. K Rosaiah is now ready for do or die. He has sent a letter to Congress President Mrs. Sonia Gandhi stating that either he should be given full powers as chief Minister or his resignation should be accepted. After pushing himself hard for one and a half years between party high command and supporters of Jagan Mohan Reddy, Chief Minister has now resolved that he would create his exclusive identity.
Chief Minister has the privilege of presenting state budget in the assembly for 16 times. With 50 years of political experience Chief Minister has served on important portfolios under 5 or 6 six chief ministers. He had second position in Rajshekhar Reddy’s rule. Following the demise of Rajshekhar Reddy in a helicopter accident, he acquired number one position with the approval of party high command.
However he had to face ordeal since day one. Initially ministers and Congress MLAs offended him by declaring him a temporary chief minister and ran a movement to make Jagan Mohan Reddy chief minister. Supporters of Jagan termed him as disqualified and complained about him to party president Mrs Sonia Gandhi several times. Even today several ministers do not extend their support towards him.
When Chief Minister Rosaiah visited Delhi and tried to expand his cabinet he was not given permission keeping in view the anticipated rebellion within the party.
Following the derogatory comments against Sonia Gandhi, Dr. Manmohan Singh and Rahul Gandhi aired on Sakshi channel, Congress party has once again divided into two.
After long enduring patience Rosaiah has now decided to choose between lull in the party or withdrawal from the post hence he has sent a letter to the party president either to bestow him complete powers or accept his resignation.
