CM Promises To Complete Pranahita-Chevella And All Projects On Time

The Chief Minister Kran Kumar Reddy has assured people that was making every effort to complete all the ongoing irrigation projects including the prestigious Pranahita – Chevella on time.

The Chief Minister who has commenced his Indiramma Baata in the Medak district on Monday has interacted with the beneficiaries of Indira Jala Prabha in Dubbaka. Speaking on the occasion, he said from the next Khariff onwards, the government would implement interest free loan scheme for farmers for loans of Rs. 1 lakh. He said he was making efforts to bring 30 lakh acres under cultivation additionally during the next two years.

Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha, ministers D K Arna, Sunita Lakshma Reddy and several senior officials have participated in the programme.

The Chief Minister who has started his Indiramma Baata from Medak would continue it in all the constituencies of the district excepting Siddipet.

In view of the threats of the TRS leaders to oppose the Chief Minister’s tour, police have taken several TRS and BJP leaders into preventive custody. In Siddipet, they have taken into custody TRS leader and former MLA Ramalinga Reddy.

The Chief Minister has said that after assuming power he has visited Medak as many times as he has visited his own district.

The Chief Minister has also addressed people in Toopran. Speaking on the occasion, he said he had launched developmental works to the tune of Rs, 75 crore on Monday. He said he would give equal importance to both welfare and development programmes. He has explained how he had started welfare schemes like Re. 1 a kg rice scheme and continued other programmes like fees reimbursement.

The Chief Minister would visit Narayanakhed on October 30. as he would be coming to Narayanakhed from Medak by helicopter, officials are laying helipad on war footing. From the helipad to the meeting place they have laid mud road. Special transformer and a generator were set up at the place to ensure that there would be no power failure. About 18 foundation stones were being set up at the meeting place. The Chief Minister would lay the foundations for different places there itself. (NSS)
