CM promises 600 sq yard plots to Uppal farmers

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today announced that fertile land losers of Uppal Bhagayat will get plots under HMDA venture by Dasara festival through land pooling process.

KCR made this direction to officials to complete the process when Malkajgiri MP Malla Reddy called on him at camp office. IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao was also present. Malla Reddy apprised the Chief Minister of the victims, who lost their lands to the previous YSR regime. Then YSR regime did not compensate for 54 acres of land and failed to return 1000 sq yards per acre by taking 754 acres on both sides of Musi river in Nagole in the name of land ceiling act for 12 years.

KCR directed the officials to allot plots of 600 sq yard per acre in the venture developed by HMDA by Dasara festival. He announced the same to the farmers gathering who shouted slogans in favour of KCR and the TRS Government for resolving 12 year long pending problem. Later KTR asked the farmers they can really celebrate the festival. (NSS)
