CM presents law and order report to governor

Hyderabad, January 13: The Chief Minister, Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy, this morning called on the Governor, Mr E S L Narsimhan, in the Raj Bhavan and closeted with him for some time.

According to informed sources, the Congress high command directed the Chief Minister to meet the Governor and discuss the issues of law and order and political situation in the State. The Chief Minister reportedly presented a report to the Governor on law and order, which was furnished by the State Intelligence chief to him in the morning. During his visit to New Delhi recently, the Centre had asked the Governor to get reports on law and order from the Chief Minister.

The prevailing political uncertainty also came up for discussion in the meeting of the Chief Minister with the Governor.

With the Chief Minister calling on the Governor, rumors spread on possibility of changing of the Chief Minister in the State.
