Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu today said in the present circumstances chief minister post was not a crown of flowers, but it was a crown of thorns.
Injustice was done to Andhra Pradesh during the process of bifurcation. We need the blessing of the people for the development of the state, he said.
The Chief Ministertoday attended various functions at Ramakuppam in Chittoor district. The state was handed over with empty treasury and there was no money for even making payment of salaries to the employees.
Naidu emphasized on the need for hard work to develop the state and to take up various welfare progammes. ‘I am ready to work for 24 hours for the development of the state’.
The chief minister said the centre would extend its help as TDP is also an ally of NDA government. In spite of hurdles , the government would fulfill all the promises made to the people. ‘I will work till the last drop of my blood for the welfare of farmers and do justice to them’, Naidu said.(NSS)
