Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy today held discussions with Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram on state projects.
It is understood that they have reviewed about 28 power and highways projects of the State. The Finance Minister is in city and staying at Hotel. The chief minister called on him and the projects were reviewed as central funds are involved in the projects of the State. Chidambaram also held meeting with bankers on the issue.
The 28 projects would need Rs 92,500 crores and the banks have agreed to finance Rs 69,500 crores. (INN)
