The Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy paid floral tributes to Late Indira Gandhi today. The Chief Minister garlanded the statue of Gandhi at Sangareddy Town on the occasion of her death anniversary. Several ministers, legislators, hundreds of Youth Congress workers also paid tributes.
The Chief Minister paid glowing tributes to Late Indira Gandhi. The Chief Minister recalled her sacrifices and yeomen services to the poor and downtrodden. He said Indira Gandhi was a very popular leader and beloved Prime Minister, particularly among the rural Andhra Pradesh. People in the State respected and loved her and called her Indiramma and held her in high esteem. Kiran Kumar Reddy said he has launched the ‘Indiramma Baata’ in her memory and will be touring all districts in the State to solve the people’s problems. The Chief Minister addressed a largely attended public meeting at Sadasivpet this afternoon. Several ministers, legislators and other leaders participated. (NSS)
