C.M. of A.P. Mr. N.Kiran Kumar Reddy has issued orders to Finance Dept. for releasing one thousand crore rupees to fulfill the promises made and assurances given during his Indiramma Bata Programmes.
In addition to it, C.M. has also instructed his officials to complete the works for which assurances have been given to people on various occasions.
During Indiramma Bata programme, 1020 assurances were given, out of which 423 have already been completed. Work is in progress for 428 proposals whereas a review is being made of 169 works. C.M. has instructed the officials to complete all the works by the end of this month. The other works, which are under review, could be completed by the end of March. C.M. told that he would make a review of these works every month. C.M. had reviewed all these works on Friday at the high level officials meeting held in Secretariat. C.M has toured 11 districts under Indiramma Bata Programme which include East Godavari, Srikakulam, Khammam, West Godavari, Kurnool, Mahboobnagar, Krishna, Prakasham, Medak, Ranga Reddy and Visakhapatnam.
It may be noted that Rs.1, 000 crore have already been released so far from C.M.’s special development Fund. C.M. has also given some assurances during Praja Pitham Programme.
C.M. has issued instructions to pay special attention for the establishment of schools, colleges. I.T.I’s and hospitals. These institutions have to be started during the academic year 2013-14.
