Hyderabad, September 25: Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has directed the officials to make elaborate security, transport and other required arrangements for the Group-I examinations commencing from Sunday.
The Chief Minister issued the instructions after reviewing the Strike situation with the Ministers and senior officials on Saturday evening. He issued instructions to the officials to minimise hardship to the Public, particularly the farmers in regard with the power supply to the agricultural pumpsets. Revenue Minister N Raghuveera Reddy, Chief Secretary SV Prasad and other senior officials attended the meeting.
The Officials informed that 233 million units of power supplied against the demand of 261 mission units. The Coal movement is being started from Kakinada and Krishnapatnam ports. 1400 M W of power purchased and supplied. The Coal Production in Manuguru, Yellandu and Kothagudem is normal and 42,000 metric tonnes of coal was produced. 233 million units of power supplied against demand of 261 million units.
APSRTC operated 365 buses in Telangana area including city on Saturday. On Sunday too, 375 to 400 buses would be operated and special buses are being arranged to Group-I examination centres.
Emergency services like sanitation, garbage lifting water supply in GHMC area, Municipal areas and Panchayats are as usual. 20,000 teachers including about 5000 apprentice teachers attended to schools mostly in Khammam, Mahabubnagar and twin cities. Doctors in Gandhi, Osmania, Warangal MGM, and PHCs, district hospitals in Telangana area are attending the emergency services.
