Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy today inaugurated a new CID Building. On the occasion, Director General of Police V. Dinesh Reddy handed over a cheque for Rs 4 crores (one-day salary of entire Police department) to the Chief Minister towards Relief Fund for Uttarkhand flood victims.
The Chief Minister inaugurated the CID Building (State Headquarters) at 12.30 pm at Lakidikapool. The CM also released CDs on Crime in AP – 2012, CID Journal, Handbook of Instructions for CID officers, Logo of CID.
Crime in AP-2012 is a compilation of State Crime Statistics which will be sent to the National Crime Record Bureau (NCRB) for compilation of National Crime Statistics. Andhra Pradesh is the first State in the country to publish State Crime Statistics for 2012.
