Tourism and Cultural Department’s Special Principal Secretary Chandana Khan has said that Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy would inaugurate the World Telugu Conference scheduled to be held from December 27 to 29 at Tirupati. An official website and logo will be released on September 11, she added.
She held a review meeting with the officials concerned on Friday at Ravindra Bharati for preparing an action plan on arrangements for the World Telugu Conference.
After the review meeting, she said that they would organize a special meeting under chairmanship of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy along with Minister for Mines Galla Aruna Kumari, MPs, MLAs, TTD Chairman, local representatives, intellectuals and officials from Chittoor district at Tirupati shortly. She said that four main committees and 16 sub-committees would be set up to organize World Telugu conference.
Cultural Department Advisor K.V. Ramanachari, Shilparamam special officer G. Nageswara Rao and Cultural Commissioner Rallabandi Kavita Prasad were also present. (NSS)
