Hyderabad, November 05: The Minister for Information and Public Relations, Dr J Geetha Reddy has condemned reports in a section of the press which said that at the Cabinet meet on Wedesday, the Chief Minister Mr K Rosaiah has termed the Ministers as ‘characterless’, and said it was far from true.
Speaking to the media here today, Dr Geetha Reddy said that it was a fact that the Chief Minister has cautioned the ministers against leaking the Cabinet deliberations, as they have taken oath to maintain secrecy.
As the Ministers were leaking some of the discussions, wrong and twisted reports were appearing in the media, he felt and added that it was not proper on the part of the Ministers to violate the oath of secrecy. In this context, she referred to the scrolls that are flashed by the T V Channels, even before the official press briefing took place on the Cabinet decisions. She also said that even during the regime of late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, Mr Rosaiah had brought to the notice of the Cabinet about the leaks.
The Minister said that though there were differences among the Ministers on regional lines, on the administration front, all of them were cooperating with each other, she said.
