CM mourns Lance Naik Hanumanthappa

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today expressed shock at the demise of Siachen avalanche survivor Lance Naik Hanumanthappa of Madras Regiment.
Hanumanthappa, a Siachen braveheart, who was undergoing treatment at Delhi’s Army Hospital, breathed his last at 11.45 am today. In a press release here, KCR stated the soldier sacrificed his life for the nation and his valour will remain in the history. “It is bad luck that despite best efforts of doctors to save his life followed by prayers and pujas by the people could not protect him”, the Chief Minister stated. KCR conveyed his condolences to the kin of the soldier. (NSS)
