CM, Ministers should mingle with people: Jana

Telangana Congress Legislature Party leader and former minister K Jana Reddy today said Chief Minister and his cabinet colleagues would get name and fame when they get mingled with people always.
Interacting with mediapersons at Telangana State Assembly Lobbies here, Jana Reddy said it is a continuous process for the leaders to focus on resolving the issues of the people. He refuted the media reports that he was unhappy for not getting TPCC chief post which was given to Ponnala Lakshmaiah. “I never tried for TPCC post and refrained from pressing the AICC leadership for the same”, he recalled. “I am quite happy with what I held and got from the party and people”, he observed. He maintained that while BJP leader Narendra Modi became Prime Minister with name and fame, the senior-most leader L K Advani failed to become PM in spite of having RSS support, failed to become PM, he said.
When asked, Jana Reddy said the Congress will not hesitate to pull up the TRS Government if it failed to implement its manifesto. The TRS was voted to power as the people of the region believed in a change of guard, he said. (NSS)
