CM under MIM pressure, ignorant on Sept 17: BJP

BJP Telangana president Dr K Laxman today called upon party’s yuva morcha to take up agitation for resolving problems of students and youth in the state.

 

Addressing state yuva morcha office bearer meeting at state party office here, Laxman condemned the attitude of the TRS government which is following same path as earlier governments on the issue of September 17which is known as Telangana liberation day.

 

He alleged that chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is following the previous governments in this regard. Though TRS came to power for two years KCR who is under MIM pressure fails to keep the promise on September 17 he fumed.

 

The BJP chief further alleged that due to tacit alliance with MIM party, the TRS government is ignoring sacrifices of protagonists like Soyabulla Khan just for vote bank politics.

 

Laxman said the TRS government has failed to fulfill its promises and youth are in dismal and disappointed for not providing jobs of 1.08 lakh vacant posts as promised by KCR in the assembly itself. He also accused the state government of not releasing funds for fee-reimbursement to students.

 

Earlier speaking on the occasion, state yuva morcha president P Vikram Reddy said rallies and meetings would be organsied to create awareness among the people demanding the government to organize September 17 day officially.

 

The meeting was chaired by Vikram Reddy which attended by state party general secretaries Dugyala Pradeep Kumar, BJP yuva morcha national secretary Baddam Mahipal Reddy, BJP yuva morcha state secretaries Bharat Goud, V Narender and T Ravikumar. (NSS)
