C.M. of A.P. Mr. N.Kiran Kumar Reddy and Panchayath Raj Minister, Mr. K.Jana Reddy reach Delhi. In the evening Governor of A.P. Mr. E.S.L. Narsimhan and Deputy C.M. Mr. Damoodar Raja Narsimha also reach Delhi. Political activities of A.P. have increased in New Delhi since last week. Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy met Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad at lunch and had a detailed discussion on the political situation of A.P. continuously for two hours. He mentioned the situation of A.P. after the dismissal of Dr. D.L.Ravindra Reddy from cabinet. He requested Mr. Azad to permit him to the expansion and reshuffling of the cabinet. He also discuss nominating four MLC’s under Governors quota and the composition of A.P.C.C. executive. Ms. Sonia Gandhi called Mr. Chiranjevi and Mr. Rajiah. There are many contenders for the Home Minister of A.P. but C.M. is in favour of allotting this portfolio to the person of his confidence. C.M. and Mr. Jana Reddy came back to Hyderabad where as Deputy C.M. and Governor went to New Delhi in the evening. It is reported that there are differences between C.M. and Deputy C.M. Mr. Raja Narshimha, Deputy C.M. wants Home Ministry where as C.M. is against it. APCC President, Mr. B.Satyanarana met Mr. Ahmed Patil, political advisor of Ms. Sonia Gandhi and Treasurer of AICC, Mr. Moti Lal Vohra and apprised them of latest political situation in A.P.
After meeting Ms. Sonia Gnadhi Mr. Rajiah told that he has demanded party President Ms. Sonia Gandhi for the formation of Separate Telangana State. He has also told her about the suicides of several youths and students. Ms. Sonia Gandhi has assured him that she would take a decision on Telangana as soon as possible.
