Hyderabad, February 24: Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy is expected to leave for New Delhi on Thursday morning to brief the Congress Central leadership on issues pertaining to MLC elections as well as the ongoing Telangana agitation. He will return to the state capital by Thursday night.
The chief minister is also expected to brief the party leadership about other issues which include non-cooperation movement by the Telangana employees, ongoing hunger strike by former Kadapa MP Jagan Mohan Reddy on fee reimbursement.
Besides, the likely challenge expected to come from its own MPs, MLAs, municipal councillors and other supporters of Jagan in the council polls. Meanwhile, APCC president D Srinivas met the chief minister at the latter’s camp office this evening.
It is learnt that they finalised the list of candidates for MLC polls for Assembly and local bodies constituencies.
Kiran Kumar Reddy would place the probables’ list of party candidates before the party leadership for approval.
