CM Launches Certificate Courses For Scribes

Hyderabad, July 05: The Press Academy of Andhra Pradesh on Sunday announced two certificate courses which were useful for staff of editorial board of media houses on the occasion of birthday of the Chief Minister, Mr K Rosaiah.

The Chief Minister formally launched the courses in the camp office. The Press Academy will launch the mid-career training courses in the categories of photo- journalism and digital techniques in news media. The courses would be conducted in collaboration with Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University. The courses will be useful for the editorial staff working in English and vernacular dailies and news channels. The courses would be offered to the mediapersons at nominal fee.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Rosaiah appreciated the Press Academy for conducting the new technology courses for mediapersons as it would update their professional skills.

The Minister for Information and Public Relations, Dr J Geetha Reddy, the Press Academy Chairman, Mr Tirumalagiri Surender, the Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University Vice Chancellor, Ms Padmavathi, and others were also present.
