Hyderabad, April 15: Drinking water supply, public distribution system, power supply and National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS) will be on the agenda for the new edition of Prajapatham programme proposed to start this month. The Group of Ministers constituted for implementation of Prajapatham 2011 will finalise the schedule and modalities of the programme during a meeting to be held tomorrow.
Prajapatham is a novel programme intended to sort out bottlenecks in areas of development and was launched in all the Assembly constituencies in the state during the regime of former chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy. In the Prajapatham programme all the legislators will visit three or four panchayats or municipal wards a day in their respective constituencies.
