CM to launch Prajapatham at Prakasam village

Hyderabad, April 19: Chief Minister K Rosaiah will formally launch Prajapatham at Katarivaripalem village in Challareddypalem gram panchayat in Vetapalem mandal in Prakasam district on Monday.

He will listen to the grievances of the people and set the tone for the programme by motivating the officials concerned to work for on-the-spot solutions.

At a review meeting held today, Rosaiah emphasised the need for officials to serve the poorest of the poor with a human face to ensure that benefits of all developmental and welfare measures reached the needy and genuine beneficiaries.

He said every effort should be made to solve the grievances aired by the people, particularly those in villages.

The priority issues during the monthlong programme are drinking water, Aarogyasri, awareness on availability of `108’ and ‘104’ services, health information, education and communication campaign, streetlighting and drinking water supply in urban areas.

The chief minister will also visit Rayadurgam, Hindupur, Anantapur and Kadiri in Anantapur District on April 25 and 26.

He is also scheduled to visit Nellore district on May 2.

“The district in-charge ministers, ministers from the respective districts, MLAs, MLCs should participate in Prajapatham sincerely in their respective regions and ensure that people take full advantage of the availability and presence of officials at their doorstep,’’ Rosaiah said.

Speaking on the Rededication Day to be observed on May 15 and 20, Rosaiah said, “On both the days the officials and elected representatives should re-dedicate themselves to serve the people with a human face and ensure that not a single grievance is left un-answered or un-attended to.’’ He said every day each team should visit four gram panchayats and five wards in municipal areas and start the interaction at 8 in the morning so that the programme could be completed as per schedule in all the regions.
