CM Kiran lost total control

Hyderabad, September 27: The Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy appears to have lost control on the administration, party and even on his cabinet. While MPs are coming out onto the streets and heckling him, ministers are openly criticizing him. The latest incident is Minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy’s outburst. Komatireddy who has already announced that he would quit the minister post by this month end and start fast-unto-death, has chosen to level serious allegations against the CM in the meantime. He said it was his misfortune to work under the present CM.

Who asked him to work? This would be the natural question when he says he doesn’t want to work under Kiran Kumar Reddy. Why has he made such a serious remark even as he has already decided to quit the cabinet and set a date for it? Does he want to be sent out, putting the blame on the CM?

Latest reports indicate that the CM has already complained to the Congress High Command about the minister and they assured him that action would be taken against those, dragging the prestige of the government and the party to the streets.

List is unending… On how many leaders can the Congress take action? Handlooms and Textiles Minister Sankara Rao has openly criticized the Chief Minister several times. He has even complained against him to the High Command. MP Ponnam Prabhakar has ridiculed the CM and openly said that he got the post through lobbying. He has openly asked Kiran while sitting in his office face to face, to tell them the techniques of the lobbying through which he got the CM post, so that they could lobby the same way to get Telangana.

Though Civil Supplies Minister Sridhar Babu has not come out into the open, he is also believed to have expressed his displeasure at the Chief Minister keeping him in the dark on the Re. 1 kg rice scheme.

Like this, the list of dissidents appears unending. In this context, is it appropriate on the part of the High Command to advise the Chief Minister to mend his ways and win the confidence of his colleagues?
