Telangana Tourism Minister Ajmiri Chandulal has said the State government was trying to develop tourism sector to protect culture of the State.
Speaking at a function organized by Telangana Development Forum, the minister said the State government aimed to prepare a tourism policy keeping in mind the tourism development. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was giving importance to development of tourism sector, which would provide employment to the youth.
The minister said they were trying to claim International branding to Telangana cooked food items. He said by 2019 the State tourism sector would be No. 1 in the country which would attract investment of crores of rupees. Tourism secretary Burra Venkatesh and TDF president Rama Rao and others attended the function. (NSS)
