Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will host the Iftar party for Muslims at LB Stadium on June 8 as part of the Ramadan celebrations. He will also attend the party. He has directed the officials concerned to make necessary arrangements. Besides, distribution of new clothes to the members of the Muslim community will be done in 800 Masajid throughout the state including in Hyderabad.
The Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali held a review meeting with the Advisor to Minorities Welfare department A.K. Khan, Waqf Board Chairman Mohammed Saleem, Secretary to Minorities Welfare Department M Dana Kishore, GHMC Commissioner Janardhan Reddy, Commissioner of Police, Anjani Kumar, Mahesh Bhagwat and other senior officials, at Secretariat, to take stock of the arrangements at LB Stadium.
The Deputy Chief Minister informed that the government will host Iftar, dinner besides distributing Ramadan gift packs comprising of 3 pairs of clothes to the poor Muslims families in 800 masajid in Hyderabad and districts.
