Government has allocated Rs. 100 cr for its new scheme ‘Shaadi Mubarak’ while Rs. 5 cr have been allocated for mass marriages of girls of other minority communities. Shaadi Mubarak scheme came into force on October 2. It is planned to issue cheques of Shaadi Mubarak scheme on November 11, on the occasion of birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the day which is also celebrated as Minority Welfare Day.
Chief Minister will give away the cheques to the beneficiaries of Shaadi Mubarak Scheme.
