Mr. N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, C.M. of A.P. has instructed Chief Secretary Ms. Mini Mathew and the officials of energy department to improve power supply in the state. It is reported that by the end of July 747 MW electricity would be produced additionally which may help improve the supply of Electricity. It is expected that in a few days time, NTPC’s Simhadri units 3 & $ will produce 420 MW and in Ramagundum 60 MW, Nalehar 107 MW and NTPC will produce 210 MW electricity.
C.M. reviewed the difference between the demand supply of electricity in the state and suggested various steps to improve the situation. He consulted Mr. I.J.Kapoor, Director of NTPC Mr. Kapoor promised that in various units of NTPC, production of electricity will be increased and the supply of 800 MW current would be ensured. He also promised that 100 MW units of electricity will be reserved was attended by Ms. Mini Mathew, Chief secretary, Mr. Littam Kumar Reddy, minister for housing, Mr.Dinesh Kumar, principal Secretary(Energy) Ms.Pushpa Subrahmanyam, Principal secretary(Finance).
