About Rs 50 lakh would be distributed by the Chief Minister under the first phase of distribution of funds collected by KVVES. The compensation distribution was decided on September 1, but it was extended due to the Mattanur Municipality election, KVVES district president Devassya Mechery said at a press conference here today. Devassya said a total of 300 applications had been received from the shop owners, including about 220 from Iritty and 19 from Chala.
