The Telangana Government has decided to set up a separate Planning Commission for State, according to a CMO press release here on Monday.
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who will head the Commission has appointed S Niranjan Reddy (Mahbubnagar) as his deputy. The Commission will formulate new plans for rebuilding of Telangana. The CM said Niranjan Reddy is noted for giving intellectual support to Telanagana movement and the government would utilize his services in the reconstruction of the new State, KCR noted. The State government issued orders to this effect.(NSS)
