TRS MLA, Mr.T.Harish Rao alleged that the C.M. of A.P. Mr. N.Kiran Kumar Reddy, is making every attempt to crush Telangana Movement and on the other hand he is taking steps against the poor people of both the regions. Talking to newsmen, Mr. Harish Rao told that the C.M. has no interest in the welfare of the poor. He made announcements for various welfare schemes for the poor but there is no implementation. Many poor families have been starving. He had made lofty promises during Rachabanda program which were never fulfilled. C.M. had threatened that Ration cards will not be issued to those who do not attend Rachabanda program but in spite of attending this program ration card were not issued in last 16 months to those who attended this program.
Mr. Harishwar Reddy, J. Krishna Rao and Mr. Swami Goud also criticized the Govt. for depriving the poor people from ration cards and pensions. The issue of 16 lakh ration card and 6 lakh pensions and the construction of houses for the poor in Telangana region have been stopped. During Telangana agitation examinations were conducted in Seema Andhra region but in the name of Seema Andhra agitation all the educational activities in Telangana area have been stopped. Telangana ministers are busy in saving their ministerial berths instead of taking care of the problems of the poor. Telangana leaders are demanding separate Telangana only nominally and they are not serious about it. Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy is not functioning as the C.M. of A.P. but he is discharging duties as the chairman of Seema Andhra Joint Action Committee.
