Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao hailed the successful launch of PSLV-C 38 by ISRO and wished that the scientific and technological advancements achieved in the recent past should continue. He also hailed the launch of Carto Sat 2 E, which will be useful in finding the underground waters and satellites of other countries.
The Chief Minister hailed Vaasala Narsaiah, a Metpally-based writer of Jagityal district for getting the national award for Children’s literature. He said it is befitting for Narsaiah, who authored several books, hundreds of stories for children to get the prestigious award. He hoped that Narsaiah would continue to pen stories for the children, which will help them to imbibe good values in life.
The Chief Minister expressed happiness over Mercy Margaret for getting theCentral Sahitya Academy award for literature under the Youth category. He said Mercy’s poems, which reflect the sociological issues won all-round appreciation. He said Mercy, who was working in Women’s Degree College at Kacheguda should continue her writings and win many more such awards. (NSS)
