CM greets Muslim brethren on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr

Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has extended his warm greetings and felicitations to all the Muslim brethren in the state on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. “I wish the Muslim brothers and sisters a happy and prosperous Eid-ul-fitr. May Allah, the most beneficent and merciful, shower his blessings on them”, he said.

In a message on Sunday, the Chief Minister said that the eternal values preached by Prophet Mohammed are very much significant and relevant to every generation since the times immemorial. He hoped that the festival would strengthen the bonds of love, compassion and mutual understanding among the people and bring new cheer and prosperity in their lives.

Observation of Ramzan fasting is a pathway towards purity of soul in a healthy body. The holy month of Ramzan signifies the willpower of man to attain self-control over his mind and body and stands a symbol of universal love, selfless service and spiritual maturity in the mainstream of life, the Chief Minister added.

The Chief Minister reiterated the Government’s commitment to provide education for all Muslim children as a result the budget for Minority welfare has been hiked to Rs 489 Crores this year. (INN)
