CM :GOVT will spend 9000 crores to improve city slums ?

The Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has said that Hyderabad means not only Hi-Tech City and Jubilee Hills but also
several places in the City.Kiran Kumar Reddy visited the Sherilingampally area on the outskirts of the city as part of ‘Indiramma Bata’ program on Saturday. He launched the ‘Rajiv Gandhi Awas Yojana’ Scheme there.Speaking on this occasion, Kiran Kumar Reddy said that the State government has identified 1400 slums in Hyderabad City and Rs.9,000 crores will be spent to develop them. He said that the Rajiv Awas Yojana programme will be implemented in 11 cities across the State. He said that Hyderabad city will be developed in phased manner.He also said that a play ground will be set up in Sherilingampally.
