Hyderabad, October 31: Chief Minister Dr. K Rosaiah bode farewell by flagging off the 14 batch of Hajj aspirants. Addressing the intending Hajj pilgrims Chief minister asserted that Islam is the religion of peace and brotherhood.
He said ‘State government is implementing fee reimbursement and scholarship schemes for Muslim community. The government is providing facilities to the Hajj aspirants at airport.’
Minority welfare minister Mr. Mohammad Ahmed Ullah reminded the gathering that he had personally visited Saudi Arabia ahead of Hajj season to ensure better lodging facilities to the Hajj aspirants in Harmain Shairfain.
Mr. Mohammad Ali Shabbir reiterated that all the schemes initiated for
the benefit of Muslim community will continue.
Hajj committee chairman Syed Khaleel Uddin Ahmed cast light on the
activities of Hajj committee. More than 1700 Hajj aspirants took off for Madina in 5 batches yesterday.
