Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Monday expressed shock and anguish over the reported drowning of five children at Sangaipeta village, Kolcharam mandal of Medak district.
It is reported that eight children went for swimming there and out of which five were reportedly drowned. The Chief Minister asked the collector and SP to immediately take up rescue and relief operations. At the directions of the Chief Minister district administration started rescue operations and rescued the three children. He conveyed heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved family members. (INN)
