Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Sunday directed all the District Collectors to keep close watch on the situation arising out of heavy rains.
The Chief Minister asked them to take corrective steps including visiting affected areas, preserving inflows in reservoirs, irrigation tanks, strengthening of bunds and to keep inform Government and Chief Secretary of any problem to be sort out at the government level. While reviewing on heavy rains with the CMO officials at Camp Office this morning, Chief Minister also asked district administration to be alert round-the-clock to meet any eventuality in view of active monsoon.
