Hyderabad, November 07: In the backdrop of the intense agitation taken up by some advocates and political leaders from the Seema-Andhra region for establishing a High Court bench either in Guntur or Vijayawada, chief minister K Rosaiah today directed the law secretary to examine the issue.
The officials of the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) in a press release said that Rosaiah had directed the law secretary to examine the issue of establishing a High Court bench in other parts of the state. “Law secretary was also directed to submit a detailed report to the government,” the press release said. However, they did not fix any time frame for submitting the report.
Chief secretary SV Prasad issued a note to the law secretary in this regard.
