Chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has directed Minority Welfare Department to expedite steps for holding foundation laying ceremony of the proposed Hajj House near Pahadi Shareef and inauguration of Urdu Ghar and Function Hall in old city.
Chairman State Minority Commission Abid Rasool Khan called chief minister’s attention towards the matters during their meeting. He told that the issue of construction of new Hajj House is unnecessarily delayed, inspite of the fact that the government has not only allotted land but also allocated Rs. 12.5 crore for its construction. He told that now that the preparations of Hajj 2013 are going to begin, at least the foundation stone of the Hajj House should be laid.
Abid Rasool Khan also requested inauguration of state of art Urdu Ghar and Function Hall at Moti Gali, old city whose construction is complete.
