Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy today directed the Medak District Collector, and Excise Officials to rush to Kalkal village where few people reportedly fell ill due to consumption of adulterated toddy and asked them to provide the necessary medical treatment. The Chief Minister also directed the officials to enquire into the incident and submit a report immediately, an official release here said. As per the directions of the Chief Minister, the Principal Secretary, Health rushed special teams with doctors, necessary staff and medicines to the village to take up relief and emergency treatment to the victims.
