Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has decided to convene a meeting on January 27 to discuss the scheme for providing free KG to PG (Kindergarten to Post-Graduation) education.
The decision was taken during a review meeting chaired by the Chief Minister at the State Secrtariat here on Friday. Education Minister Jagadish Reddy, Principal Secretary (Education) Rajeev Ranjan Acharya and other senior officials. It has been decided to take the views of different sections of the society on the implementation of the proposed scheme. The modalities to implement the scheme would be discussed during the meeting to be held on January 27.
Further, it has been decided to resolve the pending issues of DSC candidates since 1998 and also to provide them better job opportunities. (INN)
