CM consults over appointment of Principal Secretary Minority Welfare

Chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has begun consultation over the appointment of a suitable official for the post of Principal Secretary Minority Welfare. It is said that the chief minister consulted Minority Welfare Minister Mohammed Ahmedullah besides principal secretary in charge minority affairs of his office and other officials in this connection. Close sources to Chief Minister, maintained that minority Welfare Minister met chief minister and made him aware of the difficulties faced due to absence of principal secretary. He told that due to absence of a permanent principle secretary no file is being forwarded in Minority Welfare department for the past one month.

It is said that chief minister has formed a panel comprising of senior officials so that one among them can be selected as principal secretary minority welfare. It is likely the chief minister will appoint the new principals secretary minority welfare within a week.
