C.M. confesses attempts on Telangana in Delhi

C.M. of A.P. Mr. N.Kiran Kumar Reddy admitted that hectic activities are going on in New Delhi to resolve Telangana issue. He told that first Congress Party has to decide about Telangana and later Govt. of India will take a decision.

TRS president, Mr. K.Chandrasekhara Rao is in New Delhi and he is negotiating with the Central leaders in New Delhi.

About the Dharmana Prasad Rao’s case, the C.M. told that he has already sought the opinion on this matter. On receipt of legal opinion, he will take a decision. He also told that he would discuss with the Central leaders on LPG subsidy.

Talking to media persons in Assembly, the C.M. said that it is not easy to solve Telangana issue. During 1969-79, when the Telangana Movement was at its peak, Congress had expressed its views. This time also, it will express it ideas. He told that the leaders of Seema Andhra are free to express their views to the Central leaders of Congress Party.

Congress is not in favor of prolonging this issue. It will take a decision soon. When the reporters asked him about his opinion, he said that when the Congress High Command calls him, he would express his opinion. Whatever decision High Command takes, all the leaders of Congress would honor it.

On “Telangana March” on 30th September, he told that International Bio-diversity Conference is being held in Hyderabad on 1st October. He, therefore, appealed to Telangana Political Joint Action Committee to postpone it. He told that on account of Ganesh Festival, the short-term session of the Assembly was convened. Another session will be held in December.
