Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today expressed shock at the demise of former Lok Sabha Speaker, PA Sangma. In a condolence message here the chief minister said that Sangma was known as a gentleman and great personality for efficiently discharging his duties as the Speaker of Lok Sabha. Sangma, he said, was a voice of people of the eastern states in the parliament who stood for human values and peace. KCR also recalled that he cannot forget the moral support offered by the former speaker as the national level leader for Telangana statehood. He conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members. (NSS)
