CM condoles demise of Movie Mogul Ramanaidu

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has expressed deep anguish and condolences over the passing of Dada Saheb Phalke Award winner and legendary producer and filmmaker Daggubati Ramanaidu.

His demise comes as a shock to the Telugu film industry, the Chief Minister said, adding that Dr. Ramanaidu’s contribution to Telugu cinema has been outstanding.

Recalling his meetings with the Movie Mogul, the Chief Minister said he is a generous man who worked hard to churn out several blockbusters.

The Chief Minister said that the multilingual film producer also earned a place in the Guinness Book of World Records for the most films produced by an individual, having produced nearly 150 films in 13 Indian languages. “The laurels he won made every Telugu person proud. They will be thankful to him forever for making some of the best Telugu movies,” he said.

His contribution to the growth and development of Indian Cinema is immeasurable, the Chief Minister said, adding that he has worked on movies in 13 languages.

The Chief Minister also said that Dr. Ramanaidu’s contribution towards philanthropic activities has been tremendous. (INN)
