Government Chief Whip J Prakash Reddy asked Telangana JAC to postpone the Telangana march scheduled on September 30 and said that Prof. Kodandaram will be responsible in case any untoward incident happens. He said Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy is totally committed to the statehood issue while TRS is not serious in the matter.
Talking to reporters at Assembly media point, he appealed to Telangana Political Joint Action Committee to postpone the ‘Telangana March’ scheduled to be held on September 30 as Ganesh immersion and International Conference on Biodiversity falls on September 29 and October 1 respectively.
People from various districts of the state reach Hyderabad on the occasion of Ganesh immersion and representatives of more than 120 countries are arriving at the biodiversity conference to be held in Hyderabad. Keeping in view the circumstances Telangana march should be postponed, he said.
