CM to chair SLBC meeting today

Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy will be the chief guest at the 181st State Level Bankers’ Committee on June 4 at 11.30 am at Hotel Taj Krishna here.
The Chief Minister will discuss with the Bankers and officials among other issues in Agriculture Sector like Progress in lending short term production loans, progress in lending to LEC holders, release of input subsidy by State Government to the farmers affected by Nilam Cyclone and drought during 2012-13 and opening of accounts, submission of claims of Pavala Vaddi pertaining to Rabi 2011-12, reimbursement of interest on crop loans by State government for loans disbursed from Khariff 2012, Kisan Cretit Card Scheme, common due date structure, Rythu Chaitanya Yatras and Rythu Sadassulu, NAIS/MNAIS/Weather based crop insurance scheme for Rabi 2012, extending the provision of revenue recovery act to banks, overdue/NPAs under agriculture sector and projections under agriculture sector for 2013-14. He will also discuss with the Bankers the Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) Sector, Handloom Weavers, Housing Loans, Educational Loans, Self Help Groups, Social Welfare Schemes.
The Chief Minister will review with the Bankers regarding Government Sponsored Schemes—Government of India: Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP), Swarna Jayanthi Gram Swarojgar Yojana (SGSY) / National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) Scheme, Swarna Jayanthi Shahari Rozgar Yojana (SJSRY), Interest Subsidy on Housing for Urban Poor (ISHUP) and Government of Andhra Pradesh schemes like Andhra Pradesh Minor Irrigation Project (APMIP), Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Sericulture, Handlooms & Textiles, A.P.Backward Classes Cooperative Finance Corporation, A.P.State Christian Finance Corporation, A.P.Scheduled Tribes Cooperative Finance Corporation, A.P.State Minorities Finance Corporation, Andhra Pradesh Self Employment Training and Employment Promotion (APSTEP), USEP and UWSP under SJSRY, Subsidy Administration System, Overdue position under Government sponsored schemes and Projections under Government sponsored schemes.
The Chief Minister will also discuss the progress of Direct Benefit Transfer and Opening of Bank Accounts. The meeting will also discuss Sub Service Area Plan, Action Plan for LWE Districts, Action Plan for Financial Inclusion in LWE affected Districts – Progress, Establishment of Ultra Small Branches in LWE districts under the guidelines for Integrated Action Plan (IAP) for selected Tribal and Backward districts under the State Component of Backward Regions Grant Fund (BRGF) and Establishment of Call Centre at SLBC on behalf of all banks for financial inclusion – extension of services for another one year up to March, 2014.
