It seems trouble is brewing in the state Congress or at least the cabinet indicating some serious trouble for the bigwigs of the State.
The indication has come with Chief Minister visiting Delhi on May 6 with no clear agenda as of now. Added to this the chief minister has cancelled his Ananthapuram tour scheduled for May 6, 7 and 8.
While Delhi tour could be one reason, the leaders of the district N Raghuveera Reddy and JC Diwakar Reddy are not in very good terms with the Chief Minister.
Kiran Kumar Reddy’s tour comes close on the heels of PCC President submitting a report on the state of affairs vis-à-vis the welfare schemes Bangaru Thalli.
Minister Sailajanath, speaking to media said, Delhi tour of Chief Minister is a routine affair. The Ananthapuram Indiramma programme stands postponed, he said adding that the Chief Minister has no difference of opinion with minister N Raghuveera Reddy.
However, the number of days Chief Minister will be in Delhi is not specified but the three day Indiramma bata has been postponed.
With Karnataka elections coming to a close, the Congress High Command is in a position to take some hard decisions.
It faced some embarrassment with T Congress MPs staging a 48 hour sit-in at Parliament while TJAC has stormed Delhi with the separate state slogan while the Parliament is in session.
The differences between the Chief Minister and his cabinet colleagues have been in the open for some time.
