Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has announced to set up offices of all minority institutions in single premises. But it seems that the officials of Minority welfare are not in favour of it.
CM in the assembly had assured to shift all the offices of minority institutions to the under construction building adjacent to Hajj House so that it could be convenient for the people to settle their matter under one roof. However officials feel that it is not easy to shift all offices of minority welfare in the building. Moreover putting up all the minority welfare offices at one place will result in rise of middlemen activities.
It must be noted that the present Hajj House building houses offices of Urdu Academy, Minority Finance Corporation, Hajj Committee, District Minority Welfare office Hyderabad. The other minority welfare offices which are outside Hajj House premises are Directorate of Minority Welfare, Minority Commission and Minority Residential Schools Society. Officials have to say that the said offices cannot be shifted to Hajj House premises as their activities are different.
