CM asks Cabinet Sub-Committee to review FSA

Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has reportedly directed the Cabinet Sub-Committee to review the implementation of Fuel Surcharge Adjustment (FSA) on power consumers.

According to sources, the issue was raised by the Congress leaders in a meeting held at Gandhi Bhavan on Wednesday to review the arrangements for party’s regional convention at Vijayawada to be held on January 7. The Chief Minister, who participated in the meeting chaired by PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana, was told by the party leaders that people were angry over the collection of FSA and therefore, it should be scrapped.

However, the Chief Minister asked Finance Minister Anam Ramnarayan Reddy to discuss and review the issue with the Cabinet Sub-Committee. (INN)
