Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has approved upgradation of five AP Tribal Welfare Residential Schools (APTWRS) into Junior Colleges of excellence.
The Chief Minister took this decision as per his assurance during ‘Indiramma Baata’ programme at Malli, Seethampet Mandal, Srikakulam District, an official release here said last last night. Of them, three will be exclusively for Primitive Tribal Groups and the remaining two for Tribal Girls. The upgraded schools for PTGs are Malli in Srikakulam District, Yerragondapalem in Prakasam District, Mannanur in Mahabubnagar District. The upgraded schools for Tribal Girls are Visannapeta in Krishna District and Tanakal in Anantapur District, the release added. UNI
