(Siasat News) Counting of votes of by elections conducted in 18 assembly constituencies and one lok sabha constituency will be done today. Almost all the exit polls are predicting the success of YSR Congress party in all the constituencies. C.M. is hopeful of winning at least two assembly seats. In such a situation, C.M. is not concentrating on the results of this by election but he is more worried about losing his post in the event of many Congress MLA’s crossing the floor to join YSR Congress. He is also seriously concerned about the general elections of 2014. He is now concentrating to stop Congress MLA’s from joining Jagan’s camp. Reliable sources informed that Mr. N. Kiran Kumar Reddy consulted his cabinet colleagues and reviewed intelligence report which indicated that the number of MLA’s likely to join YSR Congress has risen from 20 to 30 at present. C.M. is more worried about this report because he is afraid of losing his post in case many MLA’s change their affiliations.
On the one hand, he is trying to stop Congress MLA’s from joining Jagan’s camp and on the other hand, he is in contact with TDP supremo Mr. N. Chandrababu Naidu to explore the possibilities of saving the Congress Govt. in A.P. Mr. Naidu also doesn’t want the downfall of the Govt.because mid-term election will become inevitable. It is learnt from reliable sources that many TDP leaders are inclose contact with the advisers of the C.M. and they are offering their advice. C.M. has already spoken to some Congress MLA’s and advised them not to take any hasty decision. He has also entrusted the responsibility of passifyng the district MLA’s to some ministers which they are not accepting.
It is said that some incentives are also being offered to the MLA’s to stop them to join Jagan’s camp which include the allotment of flats at important places and sanctions of pending works and projects. Sources in the chief minister’s office indicated that the silence and inaction of some of the ministers is also worrying the C.M. There are some Telangana ministers who didn’t participate in the recent campaign for by elections. The result of their quietitude could be seen after the declaration of the results of by election.
