The Congress Legislature Party on Thursday paid rich tributes to Narayankhed MLA Patlolla Krishna Reddy, popularly known as Kista Reddy, who died of heart attack on August 25.
The CLP, which met in Assembly’s Committee Hall on Thursday, passed a resolution paying tributes to the departed MLA. It conveyed heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved family.
Speaking to media persons later, CLP Secretary T. Ram Mohan Reddy and Whips A. Sampath Kumar and MS Prabhakar Rao, urged the Telangana Government to name one welfare scheme after Kista Reddy. They said that the CLP has also decided to request all parties to ensure unanimous election of one member of Kista Reddy’s family from the Narayankhed Assembly constituency. (INN)
